This Game Boy game is a remake of the classic arcade game Space Invaders. There are three different types of invading alien ships. There is the red invader who shoots fireballs, the green invader who shoots lightning, and the blue alien who shoots normal blaster rays. This game has nice sharp sound and very good GBC style graphics. A must play for fans of the original Space Invaders.

Directions:

Gameplay is pretty simple, your mission is to stop the invading aliens from landing on your planet. Control your shuttle with the directional buttons and destroy the invaders. In this version you do not die as soon as you are hit by enemy fire. You start off with two shield bars, if you get hit once you lose a bar. Try to save as many shields as you can though, because they can be used as a secondary weapon. If you have a shield left and an alien got past you and landed, quickly press the B button to fire a shield blast and it will destroy the landed invader. If you don't have any shield bars, fire at the flying saucer at the top of the screen and it will drop a shield upgrade.
